As many have now heard BMC, the current guardian of Remedy, has been taken private by a group of investors.
I don’t have anything negative to say about BMC, they seems to operate in the customers best interest. We have competed against them in many opportunities over the years and sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. It is no secret they are expensive and focus on selling a lot of custom services. We are more moderately priced and focus on selling shrink-wrapped software that can be customized and deployed without services.
I think this now represents the 4th change of ownership for Remedy. Transitions like this are painful for some customers and great for others. If this ends up being a problem for anyone I sure would like the opportunity to show you what iSupport has to offer.
